For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge you’ll never walk alone.
People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; Never throw out anybody.
Remember, If you ever need a helping hand, you’ll find one at the end of your arm.
As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, the other for helping others.

Today I substitute taught and one student said, blatantly, in front of me, that he would bang a certain female teacher. He’s in the 6th grade.
Maybe they’ll corrupt me after all.

welcome to my blog! Haven’t started one of these since I was probably 13 (that live blog is floating around the web somewhere—God help whoever finds it).
So, I’ll start off with telling you want I want to do with my life! I want to be a high school history teacher!
I want to share my passion for history with the world…although I think I’ll just end up corrupting high school students. What’s the punishment for that again? Oh yea…I think drinking hemlock. Can’t be as bad as vodka right?
